Weekly Update: June 2, 2018
We were in two wonderful churches on Sunday, I met with a young man wanting to be a missionary and we had Vision Baptist Mission’s (VBM) orientation this week.
On Sunday morning we were in Tucker, GA, in a great church and I was able to present the ministry as I taught Sunday School. We then drove to Trenton, GA. I presented and preached in this blessing of a church. I am so grateful for Rebecca as she ministers and encourages the ladies in the churches we visit.
On Monday, I met with a young man who believes God is calling him to be a missionary. I was able to explain how the Our Generation Training Center and Vision Baptist Missions could help him do what God has called him to do. Grateful men are surrendering to what God has commanded all Christians to do, which is to go, to be a part in getting the gospel to the world. The harvest is plenteous, but the labourers are few. People all over the world need to hear the gospel, the harvest is ready, but not enough labourers are going.
VBM orientation is always a great week and a highlight of the year. It is a week to be with those missionaries on the team currently in the USA, whether on furlough or deputation. We get to encourage each other and hear hours of great teaching and preaching, specifically equipping us to be the best missionaries we can be. There are breakout sessions for men and women to help us in our different roles on the field. The combined services help us all to be challenged, encouraged and equipped to plant churches and train men to continue the work of the ministry.
We serve a great God!! I am so glad I am saved, I know exactly where I am going when I die, but many do not. We, all born again believers, collectively have more work to do.
Are you over 18? Would you like to do something meaningful with your life? Something challenging and different from the norm; that would glorify Jesus? We can help, but only the serious should apply. Go to the below link and sign up: http://ourgenerationministries.org/events/ogslc/
