Weekly Update: June 23, 2018
This week we were in three great churches, heard of new supporting churches and had the Our Generation Camp. It was a great week, where we saw God move in the lives of young people.
On Sunday morning we were in Travelers Rest, SC in a wonderful church. I presented and taught Sunday School, which was a blessing. In the evening service, we were in Calhoun, GA in another great church.
Also, we heard of two new partnering churches, the first called us on Monday to let us know and the second was the church we were in on Wednesday night in Dacula, GA. We are grateful for each new partner, as we work to get to China.
This week was our yearly Our Generation Camp in Trenton, GA at Sand Mountain Bible Camp. It is called Our Generation, because we at VBM believe we can and should reach our generation with the gospel. If every Christian would get involved either going or sending, the Lord would allow us to reach the world for His glory. The camp is to challenge young people to change their default sending from no to go. At Camp, at least five young people were saved, and many surrendered to the mission field. I had many great conversations with young people and youth workers. We rejoice in all that God did and to be used by Him to get others involved in His mission.
Are you over 18? Would you like to do something meaningful with your life? Something challenging and different from the norm; that would glorify Jesus? We can help, but only the serious should apply. Go to the below link and sign up: http://ourgenerationministries.org/events/ogslc/
Thank you for your prayers and support!!
Sincerely in Christ,
