A quick update for the week. We traveled to the Carolina’s to present in two great churches, rode some well trained horses, added two new partnering churches, had an opportunity to see the Atlantic ocean and a little history.
As mentioned in our last weekly update, we began a missions conference on Saturday in Hartsville, SC, that went through Sunday night. The pastor and his wife, the congregation and the other missionaries were great. We had a great time of challenge in the word and fellowship. I rejoiced in the opportunity to preach twice and to hear each of the other missionaries preach twice.
As an added bonus, a man from the church invited us over to see his ranch. He trains cutting horses and we were able to ride his well trained horses. Rebecca and I like horses, so it was a blessing and we are reminded again of how good God is to His servants, often blessing us unexpectedly. He is a good Father.
We heard of two new partnering churches this week, Praise the Lord!! We rejoice in the team God is building to get us to China to plant multiple churches.
We drove to Newport, NC, on Tuesday and enjoyed seeing the ocean again, as well as, Fort Macon. This is an 1800’s era fort right on the ocean and was very interesting.
On Wednesday, we had a great time at the church service and I appreciated the opportunity to preach and present the ministry to China. We rejoiced in the opportunity to fellowship with another fine group of people and learn from a pastor who had innovative ways to encourage his people to evangelize.
