I trust you all had a great week. We traveled to Florida for Sunday meetings, stopped by to see Abbi in college for a great visit, we had several extra blessings there, then had our Wednesday night service on the way home.
On Saturday, we drove to stay in a prophets chamber in Valdosta, then onto our meeting in Lake City, FL, Sunday morning. We had a great meeting with a wonderful church, enjoying the time of fellowship and the time to present.
In the evening, we drove to Wesley Chapel and had an excellent time preaching and presenting the ministry there. It was a blessing and enjoyed the time with the brethren of all ages. We stayed with a nice family on Sunday night.
We are so grateful for the many homes, prophets chambers and hotels that churches have blessed us with. In 3 John, the Bible says “(6) Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:(7) Because that for his name’s sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.(8) We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.“, many wonderful churches across this land have heeded this truth. I rejoice and look forward to seeing how the Lord will bless them for their help in getting the gospel to the lost.
On Monday, we went to Pensacola Christian College (PCC) to see Abigail (youngest daughter) and got to spend some time with her and go to mission prayer band. One of the things we do on the road is challenge young people to give their life to taking the gospel to the world. The Lord blessed us with many opportunities to inform young people about the Our Generation Training Center for missionaries.
Also, we met a Chinese college student, who was saved when she came here to finish high school. She is now at PCC. Her family is still not saved and she is from Jinan, which is one of the 10 cities our team Project China is trying to reach through the 10 City Initiative. When we told her about our goal of sending a church planting missionary to her home city, she became emotional and was very thankful. She requested we take the gospel to her family. Rebecca and I were reminded of the great need in China and are so grateful God would call us to take the gospel to such wonderful people. We need more people to go and plant churches in China.
