Weekly Update: September 08, 2018

Greetings!

This week we traveled to the Midwest then to Upstate New York and back to the Southeast.  It was a great week as we presented in two churches in Illinois on Sunday, stopped at Niagara Falls on our way to upstate New York for a missions conference then back to the Carolina’s in preparation for our Sunday meetings.

On Saturday, September 1st, we drove to Rantoul, IL, were we stayed in the “Prophets Chamber” room.  This was unique, because it was hotel chain and the room we stayed in had a sign out front labeled the Prophets Chamber.  The previous owner was a Christian and named it that for use by local churches.  The hotel chain left the label on it.  It was a great room and we enjoyed being so close to the Sunday morning church.  I was able to preach and present the ministry in China to this great group of brothers and sisters.  For the evening service we drove an hour south to Mattoon, IL, for another opportunity to present and preach.  God blessed us with a great service and we enjoyed the fellowship.

On Monday, we got up and began our trek to Upstate New York.  We made it to Erie, PA, before we stopped for the night, then got up the next morning and drove to Niagara Falls.  It was great to see this wonder of God’s creation.  We enjoyed our time there before driving on to Black River, NY, on Wednesday morning to begin a three day missions conference.

We really enjoyed our time, the pastor and his family, as well as a veteran missionary who challenged this great church to do more for world missions.  This church has been there since the early 1900’s and it was my favorite auditorium to-date, as it had a lot of character.  The brethren were such a blessing and we had the opportunity to share our burden for China and be encouraged by the main speaker.

We woke up on Saturday and were on the road by 7 AM, arriving in Mt Airy, NC, by 9 PM to stay in a prophets chamber.  We are so grateful for churches across America that provide places for us to stay, this really does help us along the way, as we work to get to China.

Thank you for your prayers and support!!

Sincerely in Christ,

Ty & Rebecca Pepperdine
