Weekly Update: September 15, 2018

Hello!

This week we had a two hour interval traveling day, a missions conference cancelled due to the hurricane, additional training and a blessing of a drop-in meeting.

On Sunday, we woke up in Mt. Airy, NC, and drove two hours south to Dallas, NC.  I had the privilege to teach an adult Sunday School class, then preached and presented the ministry to China in the main service.  We enjoyed our time with this wonderful group of people and were grateful for their many different ways they blessed us, including partnering with us to get the gospel to China!

In the afternoon, we drove two hours south to Walhalla, SC, where we were able to minister to a great group of brethren in the church there.  I was able to preach and present the ministry to China.  It was a missions day, so they had missionaries in for the morning service and evening service.  The missionaries in the morning were our son-n-law Robert and our daughter Emma Becker going to Argentina (They would be a great family to have in to present, their website is https://heisglorified.blog/ ).  We got a kick out of that.  Then we drove two hours to our home.

On Tuesday, I was able to attend a class on preaching put on by Pastor Gardner.  I enjoyed the class and the opportunity to learn.

Due to the hurricane, the missions conference we were scheduled to be in on the coast of Virginia was cancelled.  We are praying for the churches and the many wonderful people we have met along the southeastern coast that are in harms way.

I dropped into a church on Wednesday night in Jonesboro, GA and the Joshua Corner Family, missionaries to the Dominican Republic were already scheduled to be there.  We had met before and I enjoyed seeing them again.  They are a great family and I would recommend you have them in, see their website https://corners2caribbean.blogspot.com/ for more information.  I was grateful to be able to present the need in China and meeting the church family there.

Thank you for your prayers and support!!

Sincerely in Christ,

Ty & Rebecca Pepperdine
