We were in a great church and friend of the ministry on Sunday all day, had the opportunity to challenge young people in missions and enjoyed some time with family and friends this week.
We have so much to be thankful and I am very glad our nation has set aside a day to recognize all that God had done for us as a nation and individually. Not all take advantage of this time, however I am grateful nonetheless. Each week and each month as I write updates, I am extremely grateful for each church and each individual that partners with us in prayer, financially and encouragement support. This week is no different, so if you are reading this letter, I am thankful for you.
On Sunday, we were in Covington, GA, at a great church. I had the opportunity to teach adult Sunday School, then teach the children in the morning service. In the evening, I preached and both of us were able to share about what God will do in China and answer questions. It was a great time and really enjoyed getting to know many new friends, as well as catch up with those we have not seen in a while.
On Monday, I went down to Pensacola Christian College with Jeff Bush, Brady Van Winkle and James Miyashita for mission prayer band. We had the opportunity to answer questions and encourage students during the day, then at night challenge them to consider giving their lives to full time church planting missionary work around the world.
For Thanksgiving, Rebecca and I enjoyed some great family time with Robert, Emma and Abigail, as well as three girls Abigail brought home with her from college. It was a lot of fun and we are very grateful for all of God’s blessings.
