Dear Pastor,

God has given me the privilege of being Ty and Rebecca Pepperdine’s pastor for over 4 years now! He has served as a deacon for the past year and an Adult Sunday School teacher for 3 years. Ty has also served as the director of our YokeFellow ministry which brought him into a very close relationship with our missionaries. God has prepared Ty and Rebecca for this work.

Ty has been a faithful witness and part of our outreach! He has been a great blessing to Vision. Ty and Rebecca are the kind of members every pastor loves to have. He loves Jesus. He loves his church. He serves in every way possible from the lowliest of jobs to being a highly respected spiritual leader in our church.

Rebecca is a godly wife and mother. She is a servant, ready to do whatever to bless others. She is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. Ty and Rebecca are the heart and core of our church.

Losing Ty and Rebecca to the mission field has cost our church and me! They have been a tremendous blessing to Vision Baptist Church. I never want to see anyone go to the mission field who doesn’t cost the church to send them. Ty and Rebecca cost. That is a tremendous recommendation. We are not sending someone extra that was sitting on the pew but a family greatly used of God in our church.

Ty and Rebecca will be serving as a church planting missionaries in China. God has been preparing them for this for years now. They have been surrendered to God and His ministry in every way for a long time. It is time for them to go to the mission field and bless many others.

Ty is a man of character.  He is hard working, diligent, faithful, and hungry to be used of God.  Ty is taking a very big step now as he sets out to start deputation. Ty is leaving a very good paying job and all the security the world can offer. Rebecca’s own testimony was that Ty has lost satisfaction that his job brought him. He dreams of God using him in China. He really wants his life to count and is sure this is what God has for them. China is in desperate need of church planting missionaries, the kind that really start churches! China is a field of English teachers but not so many plant churches. The need is great. The time is right. I ask you to help them hurry to the field.

I wanted to write to you and ask you to have Ty in. He will bless your church. He will do a good job in China. He is worthy of your support.

If you have any further questions about Ty, his character, dedication, preparation, or service please feel free to give me a call.

Yours to evangelize the world in our generation,

Austin Gardner

What an honor it is to recommend to you my friend and Christian brother, Ty Pepperdine. He has served faithfully as a deacon of Vision Baptist Church and has been exemplary in his marriage, attitude and service at our church.

Although God had given him a good job, financial stability and many blessings, Ty believes that God wants him to serve as a missionary to China. When he made his announcement that he would be stepping out by faith to raise support for China, our church family was not shocked because Ty’s heart exudes a love for God and spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

I say with all sincerity that we are losing a great servant, and China is receiving one of our best. Ty is a man of integrity, excellent spirit and consistent, strong work ethic. Supporting the Pepperdine family would be a wise investment for your church.

Here to Serve,

 Jeff Bush
